Trip to Virginia

Took a trip down to Virginia for a weekend with the family. We had planned this out weeks in advance and no one could expect the weather to have been as stormy as it was. Between hurricanes and tropical storms moving through the area we had only a few moments of sunshine here and there.

Overall it was not much of a photography trip - more of a decompressing and relaxing time with the family. We met up with the in-laws down there and got to spend quality time. I did bring along my gear - mainly my XT4, XH2 coupled with my 18mm and 33mm. The 18 lived on the camera for the whole trip. I really really want to get a Ricoh GR series camera now - just for the convenience as well as the focal length. It would’ve been the perfect travel companion - as my current set up, while smaller than most kits; is still not compact enough for all situations.
